Silk

The Queen of Yarns can be found in countless traditional garments: the Japanese kimono, the Indian sari, the Korean hanbok, the robes of princes and emperors and many more. This exclusive natural fibre impresses with its lightness, finesse and breathability. Silk is as delicate as it is robust, shape-resistant and does not charge statically – this makes it a favorite among the most exclusive fabrics.

Depending on the type of silk, the cocoon thread is dissolved and brushed with hot steam and water, before being woven on the loom to the desired quality. In this way, the silk can show its many facets: from blunt, wild silk to flowing chiffon, and in various strengths and textures.

Silk is and remains a timeless classic. Rightly so.
